Camber shims fit between the lower suspension wishbone and the chassis. They push the wishbone further outwards, which creates additional negative camber. Extra negative camber helps to use the entirety of the tyres’ contact patch during cornering. This means higher cornering speeds can be achieved, whilst also reducing tyre wear.
